Privacy

The numbers you type into the check never leave your device. The calculation runs in your browser. We do not receive, store or see your income, household or subsidy figures.

What we do collect

• Basic website logs kept by our hosting provider, Cloudflare (such as your IP address and the pages requested), used only to run and protect the site.
• Your email address, only if you choose to give it for reminders. It is used only to send the reminders you asked for, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Purchase details, only if you buy something. Payments are handled by our checkout provider; we never see your full card number.

What we never do

We do not sell your data, use advertising trackers, or share your details with insurers or brokers.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, wherever you live. Email hello@beforeyouowe.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection regulator; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
